v2017 Premium PU2. Attempting to import into Sales Order Entry using Visual Integrator. When I ""test"" the job, it writes the records. Even if I test just a small portion of the file (20 records); it writes the records. I see a Defect ID 102806 from 4/2016 and have turned off SO options to save deleted records. However, that did not resolve my issue. Not finding anything on the knowledgebase, and have been on hold for 45 minutes with Sage Support. Any suggestions? Have you experienced this yourself?

I thought that in the new framework, VI tests actually wrote records to the tables, but then removed them afterwards. Are yours sticking around?

They are. I turned off the option to keep ""deleted"" records in SO Options. Now, I think it has to do with a JobOps Issues. So for now, let's call this a ""false alarm""; and when I figure it out I will update this posting. (If I delete the JobOps fields, the problem does not exist). When I add back a JobOps Field, it does not ""remove them"" when testing. But I have not confirmed 100%). Thanks @DanBurleson

I have confirmed the behavior is related to some additional fields added for a JobOps Customization. I will report this to JobOps.
