    v2017. If you void a check number using manual check entry, why would the check number then be used in check printing? Shouldn't a voided check be unavailable for use?

    Do you have the box in AP Options - Increment next check number when changed during printing?

    No. The box is not checked. This seems like the issue. Thanks @NancyHanson !
