v2016 - WTH - Did someone censor my original post??? Let me repeat myself! Client wants to change the number of days the CC authorization in payment type maintenance. The field is grayed out. Help says it is read only and based on SPS settings. In my office install, I CAN change the field and I uses SPS as well. Client is using v2016 STD and I am running ADV. I have always been under the assumption that you could change the # of days any time, Why is this weird?

How many days before the pre-auth expires? Is that what you were looking for, Alex?

Mine says it is view only as well even though I can change it.

I am wondering if you are at the same PU Update level? SPS has decided that all their PreAuths will expire in 7-days, and as far as I know, that is not an option and should not be changeable. Some of my clients moved off of SPS for this exact reason. Maybe it changed in a PU release? I've not kept on top of this in the last year.

BLS is 5.40.4, client is on 5.40.5. My help text indicates that is automatic 7 and is view only although I can change it.... **This field displays the number of days a credit card authorization (pre-authorization) is valid and can only be viewed. Pre-authorizations will expire after 7 days. This should coincide with the terms set by Sage Exchange.**
