    v2016 standard. Click on the payroll deduction register and get this message. Anyone know what this is?

    Just a guess that it has something to do with the new codes. Maybe it can't reach the Sage mother ship to verify (synch) the license????

    Dunno but please update with what you find as I would not be surprised if others run across this. My guess is same as Jeff's.

    Did you try the repair and the error just keeps popping up? Commenting mostly just to follow :)

    Sage said installing PU2 should correct it. Rename all of the data PR data entry files PR6 through PR9, PRA, PR_42. Manually reinitialize the same files. Install PU2 then restore the renamed files. Not sure why we need to manually reinit if we are going to restore the originals... doesn't make sense. I am trying this now and will report back later.

    This was resolved by installing 5.3 PU2.
