v2016 Advanced - Report Settings (GL Detail Report to be specific). User JM created a Condensed Report Setting to print condensed and set it as default. User AH would like to have that setting as her default too. No matter what I try, I can't get the default setting to hold. Does each user have to create their own Condensed Report Setting in order to get it to hold? Tried to uncheck the Default on Standard, selected Condensed and opened Designer, tried making a change to the Condensed setting, not appears to work.

From what I recall, each user needs to create their own Report Setting, but I certainly would be interested to know if there's another way.

I'm not sure I have all the facts here but you need to create a custom report format first. I usually call mine something like XYZ GL Detail. Save the report. Go back in, make the changes on the selection screen and anything else in Designer (margins, no default printer), then save again. Have each user select the report and print it. That should save the report and related settings for that user.

What @KathrynScofield says. But it will not make that single report the ""default"" report for each users. Each User needs to set their own default report.
