    **v2015.3 - Calling all Sage 100 Payroll experts re: back-dating the computer** Related to my [SAN client's Payroll Expiration Date issue](https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/messages/39283545?ref=stream), I'm wondering if there'd be any negative impact if we set our computer date to 12-30-18 (1 day prior to expiration) and come January perform year-end Payroll tasks as well as regular payroll in January. Or I could even maybe set it to a January date (e.g. 1-5-19) since my testing shows that the client's Payroll module will lock them out completely (not read-only, completely) come 1-21-19.

    You'd probably have to block the dial-home functions for updating keys. HOSTS file tweak should do the trick.

    @KevinMoyes, supposedly it shouldn't do that since this is a SAN client, because apparently SAN's don't have a Payroll Subscription and therefore they shouldn't be pinging the entitlement server - as the Expiration Dates are hard-coded into the program. But I don't know what to believe anymore.
