V2015 Std PU3 - Trying to copy current company PR data to a W2 company so client can run 2016 PR tomorrow. Keep getting a message to have users exit the prior company before copying the data. Under master console, no one is in that company? I asked the owner to reboot the server, but resulted in goose eggs. Seems to have been some type of data block in the PRxxx folder. I renamed the existing prior year PR folder. The copy routine worked as expected. Very strange.

I had the same thing happen with a v2014 Advanced PU7. No one was in the company being copied to but it gave the same message. I just created a new backup company but it is strange.

I saw it on v2015 PU3 yesterday too. I deleted the company I was trying to copy over so I could use the same code. I ran into it at this same client a couple of weeks ago when they were on v2015 PU2 so it was broken before PU3 and the IRD.

Was just reminded why I haven't submitted many support cases in the past 10 years. This group is awesome and the support case portal sucks to high heaven!!!! I think I burned through six support numbers before I finally finished entering the data. I saved it (or so I thought) and now I cannot find it via search. I only have one. Well let's hope I saved it.
