Sage 100

v2015 5.2 premium.. Sage Intelligence installation. Customer has 2 report manager and 1 designer license. I put the license key on the server and everything works great on the server. I haven't installed Si in a while. I am going on site to set up a new workstation with the Sage 100 client and this user is also supposed to have the other Si report manager license. I was told that the license ""auto installs"" when you access Si from the Sage 100 client. This seems a bit suspicious. Does it really auto install? Is there something I need to do to claim the additional license for this user?

While I'm not sure if Premium is different, but in standard/advanced - when you launch Report Manager on the new workstation, it'll ask for the repository location, point to existing repository setup on server. It should look for an available license and take it. If you then tried this on a 2nd workstation, it would prompt you - no available licenses or type of license (if there were viewer licenses purchased).

Thanks Nancy. The workstation claimed the license fine. The Excel designer DLL add in didn't auto register so I had to manually register it to get it to work. I love ""plug and play"".
