v2014 STD - Client wants to suppress the extended description from popping up during IM maintenance or inquiry. I don't see a setting to suppress. Does one exist?

I think it's a Security Event: Role Maintenance \ Security Events \ IM \ ""Allow Automatic Display of Full Extended Item Description When Not in a Grid

Yep - Security event. Recommended to speed up scrolling through item #'s.
