v2014 premium. Bill of materials, Production Entry. The end user wants to assign a serial number to each finished good parent item during production entry. The serial number will be the manufacturer's serial number of the main component. If they produce 100 finished goods, is there a way to assign all of the serial numbers at once? For example, if the Quantity in production entry is 100, is there a prompt to enter 100 serial numbers?
The only option I see is to enter a quantity produced as 1, assign a serial number, create a new production entry, enter a quantity produced as 1, assign a serial number..... 100 times. Very inefficient.
