V2014 positive pay export - Wells Fargo. Client supplied Wells Fargo specs for positive pay for CSV file upload. Seems simple enough. But the first field requested is the bank routing number of the account. There doesn't appear to be any bank routing number field available for populating this. There is a runtime option that I supposed could be used, but this seems a bit awkward to require the client to remember this routing number. Anyone ever have to crossed this bridge before????

Wasn't WF once an option on DD? That sounds really familiar or maybe an enhancement?

Can't you store it on the Bank Account setup screen? It is static.

isnt the routing number one of the field specified on the setup screen along with the Tax ID? oops I was thinking ACH

Leave the Field Description blank. Doing so let's you create a custom field. Then enter the routing number as the field value on that line. You still have control over start,end, and length.

Yes, in the Positive Pay set up screen use the field called Routing No and ""hard code"" the routing number in the ""Field Value"" column. If your client change banks you will need to change the Positive Pay set up anyway.

Thanks all - Hard coding was the way to go. What is interesting is that in my v2015, the run time assign is not working.... Will test in v2014 to see if there is a bug somewhere. Has anyone tried runtime assigns? Do they work is does this bug go way back.
