v2014 Job Cost - Is there a way to run overhead on job cost by specific date? So, if a company is behind on running overhead can they only run it to say 2/28 and not have it include the March and April transactions?

I don't think so, the monthly allocation needs to be run before printing any future costs. I was hoping version 2018 might have changed that since job cost is now in the framework but help files indicate that has not changed. Depending on how complex there overhead calculation is you might be able to create a crystal report to provide some help in manually calculating it. and do some direct cost entries through job posting entry. maybe Sage will get there soon now that JC is in 4.x framework

Thanks @DavidOverholt A Crystal report and a VI import to job posting entry is a good workaround. It seems posting the overhead allocation by date range should be a standard feature. Currently, if a user forgets to run the overhead allocation at the end of the month then they are screwed.

Typical Sage! Although I'm pretty sure job cost was originally written by a third party and later purchased by SOTA back in the day. We have several clients on JC; not as many as we have on Work Order though. I'm hoping now that JC is rolled to framework, Sage will start adding features. I like to think they have been neglecting Job Cost because it was legacy (I know, I'm an eternal optimist!) I looked for this enhancement request on the ""ideas"" site and did not find one so I created one. if anyone wants to vote for it, here is a link. https://www5.v1ideas.com/TheSageGroupplc/Sage100ERP/Idea/Detail/38822
