V2014 - Help. Currently brain dead and trying to pass a sales order header UDF from a SO Master order to a SO Standard order. I created the UDF ""FOB"" and added it to the SO Header. I mapped the attribute as below. Please don't tell me I need two separate UDFs. I selected the Data Source, Business Object SO_SalesOrder_bus.CopyFromSalesOrder, Data Source SO_SalesOrderHeader, Column UDF_FOB. The value in the master order doesn't copy to the standard order.

Don't use the ""Copy from"" on the Data Sources tab because the Copy function isn't used when creating a Standard Order off a Master. Try using the top option on the Data Sources tab. (_**corr:**_ unless of course you are using the ""Copy From"" function and not just doing a ""Release"")

I created the UDF in SO header and updated. Went back into edit the UDF added the copy from on the source like your pic. added the UDF to SO header, then started a master order went into custom office from there and added the same UDF. It flowed through like expected.

I changed it per @BrettZimmerman and it works great. Thank you. Interesting, @KellySappington Looking at the help menu, there isn't help for mapping a SO master order to a standard SO but there is help for mapping a PO master order to a PO standard order. The help documentation is similar to the method you used (and the one I had but didn;t work.) See the attached picture.

I forgot you can create a Standard Order by doing a ""copy from"" a Master, in addition to essentially doing a Standard Order (Release) against the Master. Which are you trying to perform? Regardless though, I did get it to flow by doing a ""Release"" using a single UDF (attached), and it sounds like @KellySappington got it to work for the ""copy from"" function.

I am doing a release against the master. That's the difference. I get it. Thank you.

It will work tagging both, if needed.
