v2014 & 2018 - Delete & Change Items log reporting item can't be deleted because ""Item found on a Sales Order"". But the item is not on a sales order. Does anyone know which table is holding this record?

    Maybe SO_OpenOrderDetailByItem?

Did you rebuild sort files? For the item you would need to look at IM_ItemWarehouse.

I found and removed a record from SO_OpenOrderDetailbyItem and rebuilt sorts, but I'm still getting the message. The record in IM_ItemWarehouse show 0 on SO.

What about the SO tier distribution tables or the SO sales tax work tables. Also the ""clear quantity commited"" in the IM sort rebuild. You can also try to run the IM_CommitCheckClear_utl and IM_ClearCommitDataEntry_utl utilities.

Ran the IM utilities - nada. SO tier distribution tables are empty. I don't find any SO sales tax work tables.

Look at PO too, remember a PO could have an SO reference.

They don't have any POs. They use PO strictly for receipt of goods/invoice, and those files are empty.

Dump the SO Detail table to Excel just to make sure it's not an orphan record.
