v2013 - upgraded a client from 4.2 to 2013. In Cash Receipts Entry, when have created the deposit and are now entering a payment, if they select the customer from the lookup, the cursor focus moves to the ""Header"" tab, by-passing the Check Number field. If they key in the customer, then either <ENTER> or TAB, the cursor moves to the Check number field. No customizations. So, the user has to SHIFT TAB to get back to the Ck. # field, and finds that annoying (duh). I have tested on my local 2013 in company ABC, and in our company version 2013 in our company code and get different results. If I select the customer from the lookup, focus moves to the Ck # field. If I key in the customer, then <ENTER> or TAB, cursor goes missing until I TAB again, then it appears in the Ck # field. I compared my tab stops to theirs - no difference. They are both Open Item customers (in case that has anything to do with the price of tea in China). They do not have Credit Card, so all deposits are type = Cash. Anyone else experience something similar? My expectation is that no matter how you select the customer, the focus will move to the Ck # field.
