v2013 Std. need to update vendor item alias numbers into IM_aliasiItem. Problem is, the alias numbers already exist for this vendor and these items (vendor changed their item number) My concern is that in looking at the table, when I import the numbers, this vendor will now display duplicates and am thinking I will have to export all the alias numbers, reinitialize, then reimport the entire file back. Can someone verify the correct (easy?) way of doing these changes? TIA

your correct it would create a duplicate for that vendor. I'm pretty sure you have the easiest steps listed. I can't think of an easier way.

Throw lots of money @AlnoorCassim and get him to update IM_AliasItem for you using Providex?

Well if there is a lot of money involved, you can throw some at me. I can write it in Providex too :) I'm not sure that I could do with less cost than exporting re-initializing and re-importing though.

Oh, I can reinit and import. Just wish it was a keyed file.

It is a keyed file, but the alias item number is part of the key.
