    v2013 IM Maintenance Panel modification. Client wants to restrict access to the IM Maintenance panel to only a couple fields on tab two AND the IT Item drop down button. Any one know of a quick and dirty (or any_ way of doing this? I am thinking that role maintenance will limit access to the drop down items and that custom office can be used to block access to the tabs. Thoughts please.

    Jeff, I've hidden entire panels before by placing a large button (external Link) over the whole pane. I make sure the button has no affect if the user would happen to click on it. Maybe you could move the fields you want to show to the top and put a large button of the rest of the screen. It looks a little funny when displayed but it gets the job done.

    All of the drop down buttons are stacked on top of each other. You can disable them with a script on CI_Item post-read. You can also disable individual fields this way.
