There is no doubt that ecommerce centric companies are good candidates for Netsuite which was built for ecommerce and ERP in one solution from the beginning. We also know, that's still a relatively small portion of the overall client base.
But throwing out a $200 to $1000 peachtree perpetual license, to pay Netsuite $200/user/month is a big stretch. It's like comparing MAS90 functionality to Oracle.
Also, one person commented about switching after suffering 1.5 days of downtime due to a crashed server. This kind of a switch is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. If they had our (shameless plug) EverSafe! solution, that downtime would have been eliminated for a fraction of the long term cost of switching to Netsuite.
