Using VI to import into Payroll Data Entry version 4.50 PU 2. Importing from a CSV file and only importing time entries with HOURS for different EARNINGS CODE (Reg and Overtime). VI job runs with no errors but after saying ""YES"" to auto deductions and tax calculation I receive the message ""Check Entry #### Out-of- Balance"". Print the Payroll Data Entry Audit Report and some 15 out of 100 employees have this message printed at the bottom of their entry. However the Payroll Data Entry is NOT Out-of-Balance. If I delete the two earnings codes and re-enter by hand, re-run auto deductions and tax calculations, the message is cleared. Found this in Sage Knowledgebase related to version 4.05 http://www.sagesoftwareonline.com/sw_attach/kdb.asp?isresolutionconceptid=410831 Help please.

When you calculate the pay (hours X payrate) are you including a rounding formula? PRC({PR.DATAENT:RATE}*{PR.DATAENT:HOURS_RECPT_AMT},2) PRC is the PVX equivalent to @round.

@JeffSchwenk - THANKS! That did it! But I have another question. Using your formula, in VI how do you go about setting {PR.DATAENT:RATE} equal to the proper {PR.EMPL:PAY_RATE1} or {PR.EMPL:PAY_RATE2} based on the {PR.EARN:USE_RATE_1_2} as specified in the Earning Code file?
