**Using Sage Alerts (KSync) to distribute standard Sage 100 reports that use wrk files** I thought there had been some chatter on this but I couldn't locate it. I'm wondering what others have done. One thought I had was to use Sage 100 Task Scheduler to automatically run the standard report (to Paperless .pdf), and then potentially create a Sage Alert that e-mails that file out to the applicable people. However, depending on the report/need, it might make more sense to just instead re-write the applicable report.

I have always found it easiest to just create a new report. It reduces the ""where did the error originate"" detective process.

I use the @JeffSchwenk (Trade Mark pending) Pass Through Queries as KnowledgeSync data sources. I then create an Access query with the relevant fields and name it XXXwrk and point the report to that query.

@MichaelNottoli - Why don't you do everything in Access using PTQ's. Take it even further, instead of installing the KLF's and populating, Access is our primary databases. There aren't a lot of tables used for Alerts. Set up the ones you need in a master Access db, create some select queries to header and detail tables together and then run your Crystal reports pulling from the select query. Much easier IMHO (YMMV). Been doing it that way for about 10 years.
