  • 1.  Using File Assign for item price in VI Import

    Hi Folks

        I have a client that wants a Sales Order import for orders from a specific customer.    I have added a field to CI_Item for the price to charge this customer for items.  I find that I cannot do a file assign for the unit price as it says it is not valid for numbers.   I have tried using a temp field but it does not seem to pick up the value.  I have tried both string and numeric. Was thinking if I could get a string, I could convert it to a value.   

      Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    How about "Calculate" using the field?

    As Beth said, use calculate.
