The customer currently uses Sage 100 payroll and job cost.  Hours for jobs are imported to payroll for each pay cycle.  The customer wants to start using certified payroll.  It looks like Time Tracker is needed to use certified payroll.  Is this correct?  Is there a workaround or is Time Tracker an absolute must for certified payroll?  If so, do the imports change so the hours are imported to Time Tracker instead of to the payroll module?  They use a cloud based software and cell phone app for workers to enter time for each job.  The time is then downloaded and imported to payroll using visual integrator.

What are the requirements for using Certified Payroll Reporting? Is Payroll Required for Time Track and Job Cost?

    1. What are the requirements for processing Certified Payroll Reporting forms?

Time Track, Payroll and Job Cost modules are all required for the processing of Certified Payroll Reporting natively in Sage 100.

    2. Is Payroll subscription required for using Time Track or Job Cost modules?

A Payroll support plan is required for using Time Track and any element of Job Cost that requires selecting employee detail. Payroll Tier subscription can be set to the lowest tier if not actually running payroll tax calculation on employees setup in Sage 100.

    3. Can I use CPR without setting up employees in Sage 100 Payroll?

As with most Aatrix efiling forms, the Certified Payroll Reporting forms can be completed manually in the Aatrix preparer window, if required.
