  • 1.  Users Can Make Changes to Customer Memos in Customer Inquiry

    2022 Advanced.  Users are able to make changes to customer memos in Customer Inquiry.  I change the memo Option in Customer Memo Maintenance to Show and users can still make changes.  There are some custom enhancements so I tried renaming the Links folder and that doesn't make a difference.  Any ideas?  Is there a role or other setting that needs to be changed?

    In role maintenance, I searched on the word "memo".  This lead me to AR | Setup  |memo manager maintenance.  Try the View option

    @Jeff Schwenk   I believe that just enables or disables the ability to view the memo manager maintenance setup option.This issue is that users have the ability to change memos (maintain) while they are in customer inquiry.  The customer inquiry, memo manager maintenance setting is set to show for all roles.  It works fine on my internal version 2022 Standard system, but doesn't work on my customer's version 2022 Advanced system.

    If nothing works, then you should try it for grins and giggles....  Try searching the roles as well.
