I installed Sage 100 on a new computer for one of the users and he mentioned that his custom search and view settings are now gone.  Is there a way to transfer the settings from his computer, which we still have intact, to the new one?

    Version and std/adv?

I think the settings are under a Sage folder under users folder.  This is off the top of my head and it has been a while.

Maybe here for v2024 ADV.  I think for STD, everything is kept on the server.

Some things like Last Form Used has workstation as part of the table key, and I don't think those settings can be copied...

The Documents\Sage 100 folder holds things like Favorites added to the launcher, and copying the correct json file(s) to the new machine should work.

ALE's should be keyed by Company and Sage UserCode, so should be automatically available, unless they are using a different Sage login.

Thanks @Kevin Moyes and @Jeff Schwenk  I think the IT person that contacted me might be mistaken on the lookups.  I recommended he rename the Sage 100 folder in c:\users\user name\documents\Sage 100 on the new computer and copy the sage 100 folder from the old computer to the new computer.  I hope if he gets his favorites back he will be happy.
