  • 1.  User on 2019.5 Advanced has new problem selecting path for Direct Deposit files when setting up a new company

    This is only an issue for 1 user, and it's a new problem.  When she chooses the path by clicking on the folder button next to the path field in PR Options, she gets the following messages when navigating through a mapped drive.
    IT was on the session troubleshooting.  We reinstalled her workstation.  She has full control over server and workstation Sage folders.  IT claims permissions are the same for all users, as are the paths.  She can key in the path or key in the UNC path, but navigation is the problem.  Thoughts?

    Is her Icon set to run as administrator?  If so, uncheck it.

    I'm not sure of this one, but some paths (for Advanced / Premium) have to be UNC (not mapped drives) so things work from the Sage service.  Make sure the account used for the Sage service has access to the path being set.

    Personally, I would have them use a UNC path, and I'll work on making that happen.  At the present time however, it's only one user having the issue.  Head scratcher.  Had IT on the line and he's scratching his head, too.  I'm convince it's on the IT side . . .
