  • 1.  Upgrading Scripts

    Have a new customer....which needs to upgrade from 2015 to 2018....have a bunch of scripts.... do they upgrade seemlessly ?? Or do I need to add them again?

    They SHOULD upgrade seamlessly, but test.  You also may have to update the location information, depending on how the files were linked to originally.

    Button script links are updated separately, but both from the Link Maintenance Utility in LM.  What happens inside the script can be anything, so it's worth a look to be safe.
    Tip: use relative paths for UDS, so you can recompile scripts from workstations or the server.


    Scripts located in \MAS90\CM\Script\ are brought along automatically with upgrades / migrations.

    Guys....between earthquakes...holidays...storms and quarantine... I am finally doing this upgrade from v2014 to v2019
    I see all the scripts on the CM folder
    I ran the compile option on Custom Office
    I verified the Link and its ok....

    But still the script is not executing in the new version.... what else do I need to verify????
