Sage 100

Upgrading MAS90 C/S v3.74 (SQL) to 2014 Premium. I am looking for the 3.74 SQL to 3.71 non-SQL Migration Utility. Does anyone have this?

I know we sell it on our website. Not sure of the status from sage. They used to provide it.

Didn't know we had to buy this. I saw a Kb that said contact Sage sales to get the conversion utility. I thought it was free and someone in the group might have a copy... save me a phone call and having to wait until Monday. Oh well... I will call Sage on Monday. My client is going to flip if they have to pay for this.

If they are on plan you should be ok.

Thanks Jim. They are on plan. They have paid the maintenance every year and haven't upgraded in 10 years or so.... that's why they would probably be upset if they got hit with another ""upgrade"" charge. Sage put them in a corner... making it necessary to use the utility to upgrade.... hard to believe they would charge them additional.... though nothing surprises me.

Ok I got clarification. The one we have on our website is for sage 100 premium 4.50+ to Pvx . Sage will provide you the 3.71 sql to Pvx.

Been through a bunch of these. The Sage tool has quite a few bugs. Alnoor has fixed the bugs in a new utility. I always hire him to oversee that part. Best bargain on the planet. (he gives me a commission to say that!) @AlnoorCassim Seriously - we had a lot of issues with the standard utility. It has always been smooth using Alnoor.

I love working with @AlnoorCassim ... Unfortunately he works for a local competitor now.

Had they not agreed to that I wouldn't have joined. It's as simple as that. I absolutely am doing the same partner work as before but now with a team of developers (that I manage) under the umbrella of our newly formed technologically forward thinking dept called xkzero Technical Services (XTS). To that end, attached is my version of the Sage 3.7x SQL to 3.71 pvx utility Scott Hickman was talking about. It has some big fixes in it. Get the official Sage version and put that in place first. Then replace the SVSQNS file in ..\mas90\SOA (on the 3.7x SQL system) with this one. Also feel free to reach out anytime. I personally assure you that you'll feel welcome!
