  • 1.  Upgrading from Sage 100 Advance 3.71 to 2013. In

    Upgrading from Sage 100 Advance 3.71 to 2013. In 3.71 each user could set their own printer on a multi-part form. Right now in 2013 when I change the destination printer in multi-part it changes it for everyone else. Is there a setting for this? TIA

    They each have to have their own form code.

    DFDM the Sy Multi Part Settings file (whatever the actual name is) and see if there is a WorkstationName field like Sy_ReportSettings and Sy_LastFormUsed does. If it does see if it's part of the key.

    Thanks Alnoor. sy_MultiPartForm file does not have workstation name field.

    Instead of doing a form for each user I'm thinking of doing a form for each unique printer driver name so if multiple users print to the same printer they can use the same form. Just need to make sure the printers have the same exact name on each workstation.

    So I thought after adding all these forms for SO invoices I would create a custom lookup so each person could only see their own invoice forms. Looked good until I found out that the lookup is also used for Sales order and Purchase orders. Oops. Had to make the custom lookup show all sales order, SO invoice and PO forms for each user. Thanks all. Still have several issues to solve before I figure out how to vote.
