Upgrading from Sage 100 2013 to Sage 100 2014. Everything goes fine until I try to do the actual conversion. I call up the Company Maintenance screen, select a company, and choose ""Convert."" After a few moments, the following error appears: ""The Electronic Reporting for W2 and 1099s module needs to be reinstalled."" Well, that's not working! I've tried uninstalling, rebooting and re-installing the Aatrix stuff and still get this error. Sage is no help. Has anyone ever seen this?

Isn't the Electronic Reporting module the old ""Magnetic Media""? Was that in the Sage 2013 installation? Those data files were in the MRXXX folder where XXX is the company code. If renaming doesn't work, go back to the Sage 2013 version and try uninstalling it.

If there is an MRXXX directory, rename/move it elsewhere and try again?

OK, so how is this for weird? What I ended up doing is copying the MR program folder from the 2013 install to the 2014 install and that took care of the problem! Even though not all companies had PR in their data structures, the system insisted on having the MR program files in the MAS90 program directory. Once I copied the MR program file from the 2013 to the 2014, things worked out fine. This damn program never ceases to both amaze me and piss me off.
