Upgrading from 4.40 to 2014. One company's data won't migrate. ""Errors have been detected in your inventory files for company PDF. ...View the Inventory File Comparison Report in LM Utilities > Pre-Migration, and the Pre-Migration Checklist for instructions on preparing your data for migration. You can migrate your company data after correcting the inventory errors"". Pre-migration says no tasks are necessary. All items are average cost. I've run all the special/hidden utilities that Sage provided to recalc costs and the Recalc Item History utility. I still get this message. Does anyone know what to do?

Since there wouldn't be any utilities to run on a 440 to 2014, is there a table showing an incorrect version for I/M? Any enhancements?

I note the company code PDF. Could it be some odd fluke with a file extension incompatibility? What if you copy to a TST company and try to migrate that? Just a WAG (wild assed guess).

@WayneSchulz , I had made a copy of PDF to ZZZ before purging some history. Trying to migrate it give the same message. @NancyHanson, yes there are enhancements. I was able to remove one, but not all, from 4.40. I'll check the tables now. Three other companies migrated.

Look in the Sage KB - they have an article which shows the tables to look at for enhancements that you might want to remove. http://infosource.sagesoftwareonline.com/infasp/kdb.asp?isresolutionconceptid=405682

I have it working now. This was all great info, so thank you both! It turns out that one of the MD's software installed the old framework files, such as IM0. Once I removed those, the migration proceeded. Whew!
