    Upgrading F9 - Has anyone recently helped a client upgrade F9 - Single user from version F9 4.5.xxx to F9 5.0xxx. Before I call the sales department at Infor, what can I expect for the upgrade price range. @JohnHoyt posted in Oct 2012 that we might be able to get a 90Minds discount for our clients that want to stick with F9.

    The last time we upgraded a single user from 4.5 to 5.0 our reseller price was $590 before tax. The price is approximate because Infor prorates a maintenance cost increase for the current year's paid maintenance so the price will vary depending on where in their maintenance year they are.

    Last time I inquired about this Infor wanted me to pay more to become a VAR. I said no thank you - please sell it directly and I had the user buy a support plan direct from Infor.

    Yea - I'm not interested in becoming a VAR - just don't want my client to pay more then they should just to upgrade.

    Infor is far less cooperative unless you can meet a minimum sales mark. We have 6-8 installed customers, but they want new customers, and we are not bringing in enough new ones. So for us new F9 installs is no longer a priority.
