Upgrading customer from MAS200 4.40 to MAS200 2013 and they use unified logon. In V2013, I have setup and started the service, ran workstation setup on the server, logged in to the server as a user in MAS and yet getting an error 'access denied. contact your system administrator'. In step 5 of the upgrade checklist it says: if you are using UL and you upgraded your system files, you must add the following statement on one workstation SOTA.ini: Logon=Yes. Where in the Sota.Ini do I add this? Could the lack of this be why i can't access V2013? I started the app server on the 4.40 to confirm I could still get into it and getting the same message even though before this upgrade started I was able to access MAS4.40.

For Dumb! Never Mind, found my server logon was still the Administrator even though my LogMeIn logon was the user with access to MAS. Been a really long slow upgrade, brain fried.

1st it's the client side sota.ini since you're on Mas 200 Add the line in the top section [config] Most important it needs to be = YES (in upper case)

Is that on just one workstation or every workstation?

The point of all that is to force a login prompt when Unified Logon is enabled. So most of the time you don't need that enabled.
