Upgrading a customer and as a dummy I said to overwrite the system files so the companies I had converted previously are no longer on the list. I have seen a post about this before but I can't find it now. Help! TIA

So did you lose the data files also. If the data files are still out there in the new company, I have simply created the company code in LM company set up and the data reappears. Sorry for making you wait so long for a reply........

Thanks so much Jeff. I appreciate your fast response. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I went into panic mode and restored the backup so I can start over.

This happens to me all the time. As long as the MAS_xxx files exist in the MAS90 folder, create a new company record in Lib Master, Main, company maintenance and then choose Activate - you will be prompted to save the record first, click ok and then your modules will be populated.

Unfortunately this client uses Payroll with 5 companies and about 5 years of backup companies for every quarter (nope, not ready to get rid of them yet) so I would need to do the above step over 100 times. Easier to restore the backup. I will remember from now on to answer No to remigration of the system files.
