  • 1.  Upgrading a client from Sage 100 Advanced 4.5 PU 5

    Upgrading a client from Sage 100 Advanced 4.5 PU 5 to Sage 100 5.2 PU 2 Premium. Migration fine. Conversion:- first 5 companies good, now on main company code and the message is ""Processing CI_SageExchange"". If has been processing for about 45 minutes. No errors have popped up. Question - about how long should CI_SageExchange take? With all the errors being reported I am a bit nervous. Client does not use credit card processing. Thanks for any input!

    Make sure that the Sage Exchange is installed on the computer doing the upgrade. That is likely the problem.

    It tries to install but will download via web browser and may not autoinstall. I am doing an upgrade right now and it did the same to me. I found it in the download folder and I had to manually run it.

    It was not installed and I manually installed - Launched the conversion and it seems OK so far. Thanks for the quick response!

    I did the same conversion this weekend. The client had 22 credit cards in AR but the AR history file was large. The Processing CI_SageExchange ran for at least 30 minutes. It install the Sage Exchange during the conversion.
