  • 1.  Upgrade to v2021

    Upgrade from v2019 to v2021...everything smooth....migrated data....converted...and when I go to reconcile data and try to print a GL Trial Balance in v2021...it starts running and closes the screen.... Now I cannot print a GL Trial Balance in either version... Already copied file for Crystal....ran Crystal conversion...created a new format.... All the other reports from GL and from other modules run great.... any clue????

    Have you tried running GL Trial Balance in another company, as maybe it's a data problem with GL_PeriodPostingHistory table you inherited from v2019. One way to check is open with DFDM and click the lookup to let it scan all the records and see if an error appears. If good, you could create a Crystal report and dump all the fields in there and see if an error occurs this way. If it does then maybe you have a bad date in on one of the date fields.

    You could of course just try to Rebuild Key Files on it. It will make a backup for you.

    OK… I feel embarrased but need to vent. The IT guy had not installed TSPrint to my user so That was the reason for the issue. Another item to add to my Upgrade Checklist!!!!
