Upgrading a client from 2019 Advanced to 2024 Advanced with SageCRM.  2024 was migrated as a Pilot, so I just want to refresh company data. Does anyone have a procedure for this?  Is there even a way to avoid having Sage require the remigrating system files?

@Steve Iwanowski @Wayne Schulz I didn't find anything in the Library.  Are you aware of anything?

Outside of the typical Upgrade Instructions, I don't recall anything specific for SageCRM, sorry.

Unfortunately, we have never had success in migrating just company data when Sage CRM is involved. I think System Files are required with Sage CRM. Let me tag @Tina Leonard; she has dealt with this a few times.

I just redo the system migration.  If I have done work in the test system, and want to keep things (like updated Roles) I do exports from the test system before the remigration.

You need to remigrate system files otherwise you can blow up CRM.I tried once (long and sad story) and it created a ton of work on the CRM side. I would need to read my notes but it had something to do with the company keys not being synced correctly.

    Thanks for the input, everyone.

I've come to realize that too many changes have occurred in system files since the initial migration, so I'm going to need to remigrate system files.  I'm exporting customizations to restore.
