  • 1.  Upgrade path from 2021 PM to 2022 OM?

    I'm testing out taking a client from 2018 Work Order to 2021 Production Management (to convert existing operation codes, routings and open work orders) and then to 2022.1 Operations Management since there is now a utility to convert PM to OM; however, there's still no user guide posted to the JobOps portal for 2022.1 so I am not sure how to prep for this last migration and conversion to take place. I tried migrating from 2021 PM to 2022 OM but received a message that Work Order was still installed and it needed to be removed, so I did that. On my second try at migration, I still receive the message that "the following module(s) were found in your source installation and are not installed:" but no modules are listed so I'm not sure what I need to remove or hide still. Does anyone know yet how this new PM > OM utility is supposed to work and what state I should have my data in? Thanks in advance!

    @Amber Prayfrock - Did you ever get an answer to "the following module(s)" issue?  I am having the same error on a 2018-2022.1 JobOps upgrade...​

    Hi Phil - as of 11/14, Jane Scanlan indicated that there was not yet an actual utility or upgrade path to follow to take someone from 2021.x PM to 2021 or 2022 PM. I'm not sure why there was something that eluded to that in the Scanco installation guide but I could not get any more tools to use on that project so I proceeded with a "from scratch" OM implementation instead.

    Has anyone successfully used the Production Management Data Migration Utility?  I'm looking at taking a customer from PM to OM, version 2025.  I don't trust the version 2019 documentation on this utility (the only documentation that ever seems to have been created) and am currently asking EAS for an updated copy.  There is also nothing in this documentation that speaks to PM work ticket history whether or not that converts.  This utility scares me!
