Upgrade from MAS 90 4.50 to Sage 100 Std 2014 Win 7 Pro, SP1 workstation is unable to install Crystal Reports 2011. There was 2 older versions of Crystal that were removed. The install begins to run normally, language is selected and the ""Typical"" option is selected. It runs for a moment then stops with no error. This has been done after a fresh reboot and with the windows Admin account and local install media on the machine. All the other installs for the workstation went fine (workstation setup, Sage Exchange, SDK Module etc) Any ideas, what may be terminating the Crystal install with no error? @AlnoorCassim

You're doing ""Run as Admin"" to run it?

A couple things to try: a. Have a note about an issue if there are spaces in the path name for installation - however in the past this produced an error message ""Failed to update cache for execution"" which you don't have here. b. Run the Crystal install from the Sage 100 master CD with ""right click run as admin"" c. Shut down any antivirus

Found this in our internal KB regarding issues with a Crystal 2011 install similar to yours: ""To fix, change the installation path from C:\Sage\Crystal.......... to C:\SageCrystal\Crystal........ just don't ask me why."" A little off the wall I'll admit but thought it might be worth a try.
