upgrade from 4.3 to 2014, with DSD APMU multi-company. When we try to go into invoice data entry just for one company, the rest work, we get: ""The file AP ExpenseDistTableHeader is being used by another task and cannot be opened."" Full error message attached. ExpDist tables has not been turned on for this company, rebooted server, made sure DSD conversion has taken place, when I go into AP options and try to enable exp dist tables it tells me I need to: Enable wire transfers, The Next Vendor Remittance Advice Number is required (what???) and The Print Aged Invoice Report for Multiple companies is required. Also reinitialized ap invoice entry files. My next step will be to copy the 4.3 data back in and reconvert unless anyone has any suggestions.

Eric, Have you looked in AP_Options to make certain ExpDist and ACH are not 'Y'? Or that it is not turned on in another company that is being pulled via APMU?

they are not - the strange thing is that if I try to turn Enable Expense Dist Tables on, I receive the messages attached - one specifically about, ""The Next Vendor Remittance Advice Number is required."" Has anyone ever seen a message like that? I remigrated and reconverted the data and I get the same error unfortunately.

FYI - turns out the APxxx folder was just missing a bunch of files. Even after remigrating and reconverting a second time. Seems to be the new files that weren't there with 4.3 - AP_ExpenseDist, stuff like that that wasn't there before. Copied and pasted from other company and seems to be working ok.

We just had the same issue on a 4.5 to V2014 upgrade. Not MultiCompany but several files did not copy over. We manually copied and reran the utility without error. Wonder if this is 2014 conversion issue....
