Upgrade from 2015 to 2018 including Job Cost. In Paperless Office/Journal and Register Viewer - we no longer see the JC Daily Job Transaction Register that posted from Payroll . The PDF still exists, and if I look in the PL_JournalPDFLog.M4T file the record is still in there. I'm thinking there is a bug.... Anyone else seen this?

Permissions? The reports you see are based on whether you can print / post from that function.

We had an issue with the Labor Distribution Report by Job Number to Paperless but this isn't the report you are referring to (I don't think).

Found out that Sage had to bypass the Paperless Office Viewer because the file name is 33 digits and PDF in Paperless only allows a 30 digit file name. Sage's fix was to bypass Paperless to avoid the error that you would get otherwise.

We had this problem with the PR_LaborDistributionReportJC_UI because the file name was over 30 characters. Program would give an Error 46. It was fixed in Product Update 2 by bypassing paperless office. May have nothing to do with your issue.

Bypassing Paperless Office"" - so you can't use Paperless with that report? Or it writes it to the folder but doesn't put it in the Sage file? What the heck kind of rinky-dink operation....

That isn't fixing it. That is changing what is broken. SMH

The program creates the PDF file, it just won't show in the viewer.

Just in case anyone else runs into this - Sage was able to send me a couple of programs to add to the utilities and it cleaned up the issue. I believe it was a timing problem on my part - when I copied the files over vs when I actually converted to 2018.
