  • 1.  Upgrade data conversion appears hung on PR_Audit for well over an hour

    Upgrading from v2015.3 to v2019.2 with P/R 2.20.3, and the data conversion appears to be hung on PR_Audit for well over an hour, which didn't happen during the test upgrade.  Any thoughts?

    Get you look at the conversion logs to see if there are any indicators there? Did you rebuild key files prior to starting this round of the conversion?

    It finally moved, it's now doing PR_TimeTrackHIstory.  
    I'm hesitant to access the log file while it's in process.
    I did not rebuild Keys prior, nor did I for the Test Upg.
    This data conv is taking significantly longer than the Test Upg.

    I had some weird issues with payroll conversions (similar to what you are experiencing accept with errors). So I ended up rebuilding key file. For log file, you can make a copy and paste it somewhere to look at it. I believe you can get away with it.

    Thanks, @Tara Schinkel.  So it appears this one company's data conversion took about an extra 7hr or so compared to the Test Upg (23hr now vs. 16hr during the Test Upg).  This is their largest company which I did last, and the only thing Payroll-related that was different compared to the Test Upg was the following which I performed just prior to go-live:  installed P/R 2.20.3, Union Automation updates, Timecard purge to history in v2015.
