Client going from 4.30 to 2017 to 2019.  I am on the 2017 part, and have done this before as a test - now we're live.  Am getting an error with the CC conversion, and here is what Sage says to do.  This worked on 2 companies but of course isn't working on the main company - yet it obviously did before, when I converted it the first time.  What else can I try?

Using the Parallel Migration wizard, migrate, desired company codes. From Sage 100, two table changes will be made to get the program to delete Credit Card data encountered during the conversion.

Note: This article assumes there is no credit card data to convert.

    1. Open Library Master, Utilities, Data File Display and Maintenance
    2. Click OK to the Message
    3. First Table to edit
      1. For File name enter SY_Company
      2. Using the Arrow key at the bottom move through records to get to the record associated to the company code in question
      3. Click on Edit button at the bottom of screen
      4. For the Field Name select the AESEncryptionKey$ field (should be between field 51 and 55, depends on system)
      5. For Change field enter the word DELETE  (in caps, uppercase)
      6. Click OK
      7. Edit complete
    4. Second Table to edit IF the conversion process was started
      1. For File name enter SY_CreditCardRestart
      2. Delete all records (should only be one if any)
      3. Edit Complete
    5. Exit Data File Display and Maintenance
    6. Open Library Master, Main, Company Maintenance
    7. Select company code
    8. Click on Convert

Did you happen to just re-try the data conversion?

Only 15 times, maybe.  :-)  I also went back into the old version and ran the CC purge, even though they didn't have the CC box checked, and reloaded the company into 2017 and tried it again.
Right now I have the files on my machine and they are converting just FINE.  Damn it.

OMG.  So I converted them on my machine and copied them back and 2017 seemed to be fine.  Then I started the 2019 and got a SETMIGRATE blah blah error that meant the SY_Module in 2017 had a blank record in it.

As good as any of the upgrades have been lately.  I must have a little cloud over my head.  But yeah, it's converted all the way through to 2019, I have paperless registers - all seems well.
And this was all for just AP/AR/GL...
