  • 1.  Updates to only be available for 2021 (and higher)?

I seem to recall reading about some issues being resolved with fixes only being available in 2021 even though 2109 & 2020 are still supported.  But I can't seem to be able to find the threads about this.  Am I mistaken?  Is there a list of issues 2021 will address but not earlier versions? Is there any reason a client doing a final conversion for an upgrade based on 2020 absolutely needs to go to 2021 instead?  (other than losing a year of official support?)

    How these changes impact you?

    • Sage 100 2019 and higher currently supports TLS 1.2.
    • We are currently exploring the possibility of releasing a fix for our retired version, Sage 100 2018, in order to get customers through the upcoming busy season.
    • Sage 100 customers will need to upgrade to version 2021 or higher by October 1, 2022 in order to not be impacted by the deprecation of Basic Authentication with SMTP.
