Important update from Sage 

Dear Sage North America Partners,

As Nancy Harris prepares to leave Sage at the end of the calendar year to enjoy a well-deserved retirement, I'm pleased to share the news that we have appointed Aziz Benmalek as interim Managing Director for North America.

Aziz will hold this role on an interim basis alongside his existing role of EVP Partners and Alliances, recognizing the essential role you all play in our business as we deliver on our strategic priorities, including in particular our focus on Scaling Sage Intacct and expanding Medium beyond Financials. 

Aziz is working closely with Nancy to ensure a smooth leadership transition as we drive forward with our ambition to scale in the North America market and accelerate delivery of our strategy.

As you know, Aziz brings deep cloud expertise with his strong SaaS background. He joined Sage a year ago from U.S. tech firm Splunk, where he led worldwide indirect sales, partners and business development. He also previously spent 22 years at Microsoft in various U.S. and global roles, including leading strategy and Go-to-Market for the cloud, and managed services providers business.

Finally, I just want to take a moment to, again, thank Nancy for the major role she has played in North America's growth and evolution. Nancy has made a tremendous contribution to Sage, not just through delivery of business objectives, but also through her leadership and deep care for colleagues, partners, and customers, most recently through the global pandemic. She leaves an enduring legacy of transparency and teamwork.
