At Sage's request If you have any specific Payroll questions for Thursday's Roundtable, please post them on this thread.  The advance notice helps them secure the resources/research to respond effiently at the meeting.

    Thank you.

What is coming out on the next update? When is the next update coming out (December)?

What posts from the Idea website are being contemplated?

While we applaud their efforts in getting the emergency patch release in late March, why did it take so long to patch the patch?

Any plans on publishing the various wage limits along side the company percentages in company tax group set up?  My number one request is to see the limits.  Nobody seems to want to trust the cloud calculator......

When will Production Management version 2020 be released?
Will the conversion routine be fixed so that routings without a step 0000 will convert properly?
Will the source code be released to master developers so enhancements can be done?
    What are the new features?
Can we create a work ticket without having to click "copy from" as an extra step for every work ticket?
Will creating a work order from a sales order ever be added to Production Management or will Scanco force customers to purchase Job Ops/Operations Management if they need this one feature?

Thank you for your responses.  Questions related to payroll will mostly likely be addressed during Thursday's 5/21 webinar, I'm sure responses will follow for the other questions.  I'll post those as I receive them.

@Moira Goggin thank you for passing along the production management questions.  Who is the contact at Sage that mentioned we should e-mail additional questions to for development of the FAQ on production management?

I'm not sure, since Linda Cade was the Product Manager for Scanco/Work Order conversion, i.e., Production Manager.  I was surprised Kevin Kawado took lead on the PM questions during the webinar, espeically since Linda was on the call.  I'll find out though, and let you know @Steve Engmann

I thought the round table had some excellent "quick wins"  and at least one feature enhancement, particularly the lot/serial number tracing.  However, they didn't answer my question during the seminar. They demonstrated that an item lot/serial number can be traced to specific sales order.  Can the item be traced back to a specific purchase order?  If, for example, sugar that was purchased was determined to be contaminated, what was the PO# and lot# of the purchase?  The vendor needs to be notified so that other companies that were sold the same lot# of sugar can be contacted so they can recall from their customers too.

Don't think so but I theorize that it is what happened to my client when their keys expired due to a snafu with the Sage license server.  Look but don't touch.

This has to be a Quick Win candidate - although I don't know how many people care about it.  When you run the Report Settings Listing report and users have been deleted from SY_UserHistory, it errors out.  I run this report routinely when prepping for an upgrade.  I wrote my own, but it's an annoyance.  I opened a case years ago about this issue and it went nowhere.

Payroll subscriptions, read only after subscription ends? - That question wasn't address specifically, but we can add to the list I'm sending.
    @Michael McDonald

*edit* - it's general, right?  What happens to Sage 100c after subscription ends?  Ready-only?  I did leave out the workaround of installing an old version :)

Thank You @Moira Goggin for including this questions.

I know @Jim Woodhead would like to know:
"Does anyone have experience what happens after SAGE100C subscription expires? What works? Is it similar to payroll where just reports work. I understand you can go to an older non C version prior to the call home but wondering if anyone has gone though it"  ."What does read only mean? Any access to master files inquiry?. Reports? Crystal reports?"

@Pam Scott said "I have a similar situation and the client indicated they go back to history often and cannot lose it. Needs to keep at least back to 2017. I have never gotten a definitive answer from Sage. The subscription folks tell them they need to keep the module but I always assumed that was just for revenue and commission and not sure it true or not.
I'm interested to know if anyone has real, reliable info from Sage. "

I would like to know in the Payroll module, will ALL the standard items listed in the Reports Menu work?  How about previously working Custom reports?  Can a user create new Crystal Reports against the Payroll History files? Does Employee Maintenance work so easy lookup of a deduction code or QTD and YTD amounts?  Can you change the Employee Address in Employee Maintenance so your Custom Crystal Reports have up-to-date information?
Specifically, What does "READ ONLY" mean?

I have a non-Sage related question:  would it be possible to start having these webinars at 1pm PST / 4pm EST?  I've repeatedly missed these due to the 9am PST / 12pm EST time (IT support calls increase at lunch time).  I know there's a west coast bias in the software industry, but nearly 50% of the USA population is in EST, so we could use some love, too.  :)
