  • 1.  Unusual error Sage 2016, not in Sage KB

    Client has Sage 2016 (5.30.5).

    When attempting to delete a sales order they are getting Error 13, Pgm SY_SALESTAXCALCULATION_BUS.PVC, Line 2204. Nothing comes up in the Sage KB.

    They have many add-ons customizations, but none that have to do directly with sales tax.

    Can someone tell me if this is native Sage code and if yes, what is it trying to do.

    Best to try the following with users out of the system so as not to risk any production data being attempted to be entered while disabling the mods.
    If possible, trying unchecking Allow External Access for the company in Company Maintenance and see if the error occurs. If it goes away, see if any scripts are are attached. If you use User Defined Script Maintenance and compile scripts for both UI and table events, this should display all scripts assigned.
    If it does not go away, try renaming the links folder to rule out the mods and see if the error occurs. If it goes away, then the issue is with one of the mods.

    Thanks @David Speck II I can try that but would really like to know what is happening at line 2204 in ​Program SY_SALESTAXCALCULATION_BUS.PVC so I don't have to call Sage. LOL
