Client is asking to Unit of measure conversion in Bill of Materials and Production Management. Feet to inches as an example. The excerpt below seems to suggest at least BOM should be able to handle it, but U of M is greyed out in BOM maintenance. Am I missing a setting or is the information in the help files incorrect?

I've looked through common information setup, BOM Setup, and Inventory setup and I'm not finding anything. I've checked on 3 different client installs and my own install; every one of those has the U of M field grayed out.   I checked and I can change the unit of measure in Legacy Work Order and in Production Management, so it seems reasonable to think that we should be able to access it in BOM.

I hadn't thought of checking in BOM help (duh).  Maybe the client can create work tickets without pulling in from BOM since they can change it there.
