Yes to this!
Until you have to deal with removing enhancements it sometimes isn't clear why this is such a big deal.
I'm sure most of you have wrestled with this issue. In many cases you cannot migrate to a new Sage 100 without either first removing the enhancement or reinstalling the enhancement in the new location.
The problem arises when the customer wants to stop using the enhancement. Which leaves you with a new project - remove the enhancement from production while also not breaking something else. Many times removing the enhancement will require that you reinstall all other enhancements. And all enhancement installations are not created equally. Some are simple to reinstall and others require a statement of work from the ISV.
Customers increasingly don't realize this because they are sometimes buying enhancements on their own and don't know the questions to ask ( I'm seeing this more frequently )
The days of the mom and pop two user Sage 100 are largely gone. Most of my customers are 15 to 25 users with wholesale distribution. Sometimes these customers operate nearly 24 hours through multiple locations so taking their production systems down so that an enhancement can be removed can be a major undertaking ( Yes, I know, take a copy of MAS90 just in case and if it doesn't work copy MAS 90 back - which isn't as straight forward with Premium or with customers who can't schedule a lot of downtime).
