  • 1.  Uninstalling EBM

    Client is installing new web site interface so they are kicking EBM to the curb.  What is the best way to shut it down in Sage v2017?  Stop the service?  Uninstall EBM?  something else?

    If the EBM is going away I would completely remove it. Uninstall the webengine and remove the service if there is one setup. Remove the handler in IIS along with the files added for IIS. If a port was open on the firewall for the Webengine then close it. If they are no longer paying for the eBusiness modules then I would uninstall it from Sage. Remember there are many fields specific to eBusiness and they will go away when you uninstall.

    Thanks @Todd Martin - Since client is in the process of moving to new server, I will not install the webengine and service on the new server.  I will uninstall from current server as Sage will want proof before adjusting client's monthly subscription fee.
