  • 1.  Uninstall Production Management - v2021

    Client used production management for about a year in v2019.  Dropped it six months ago for various reasons.

    We are working on migrating them to v2021.  During the migration, a warning panel appears stating that you have to reinstall PM in v2021 or uninstall it in v2019.

    While PM appears in the installed module in system configuration, there is no option to install it (below).  I assume it is because the unlocking keys changed to reflect their status.

    What is the better option?

    I always migrate from a copy of the mas90 folder structure.  If you do the same then use dfdm or ssms to remove any "l" records associated with PM in soa\sy0ctl such as lP/M.  Also remove and records that begin with P/M in mas_system\sy_module.

    @Doug Higgs - Thanks.  I was able to move beyond the message by deleting J/T records in the two tables you mentioned.  Surprisingly, the production management menu and sub menus appeared in v2021 so I must have missed something.​

    Prod Mgmt cannot be uninstalled.  From page 9 of the attached:

    5. Review the installation warning messages.
    Warning: Sage Production Management will not be allowed to be uninstalled.

    Interesting.  Wonder what happens now?  Technically, I did not uninstall it.  I just didn't INSTALL it......  Still in testing mode.
